Placement Cell functions with full time qualified staff. The functions of the Cell are to

• Guide and help students to find a work placement that best suits their career goals. This involves training the students in all Steps for a Work Placement.
• Preparing CVs, & Covering Letters.
• Training in Aptitude Tests and Interview Techniques,
• Also involving in constant Job Search, finding Work Placement Opportunities and giving the students General Advice and Guidance.
• Gathering information about the Companies that required the skilled People.
• Identifying potential placement opportunities.
• Establish Contacts with corporate bodies.
• Arranging Industrial Visits for project work for all courses.

Career-guidance experts are also regularly invited to deliver motivating lectures to the students. The college also has tie-ups with a few software companies. On-campus placements do happen. Job Fair is a regular annual feature.

The Placement Cell has been very active and has been involved in series of placement related activities through out the year. Aptitude Test was conducted by HCL Ltd for all Third year students on 7th Feb 11 for On The Job Training. Voice Test was conducted by HCL for all III Year Students who were earlier shortlisted through aptitude test. Finally 48 Students got directly selected by HCL Technologies.

Campus Interview was conducted by WIPRO for its TWIN Programme of Placement cum MS Education with BITS Pilani (WISE) on 9th February 11 . 457 Students from 13 Colleges participated and 13 Students were selected who will get placement in WIPRO and will also be doing MS Degree with Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS) Pilani
